Field Sales Representative (Southeast Region) (Sales)
Job Description
Beltservice Corporation is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Field Sales Representative to drive sales and develop strong product knowledge throughout the Southeast United States (Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama). This role involves building and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers to expand accounts and gain new business. 40-50% overnight travel is required. Please note that we are currently only considering candidates who live within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities
Select the appropriate target customer base to make cold calls and build relationships with.
Presenting company products and services to new customers, closing sales to gain new accounts.
Maintain relationships with current customers to expand accounts.
Educate and train members in the distribution network, including OEMs, to assist in the sale of products and services.
Meet or exceed sales forecasted sales and profit goals each year, per entity, working as a team of inside and outside sales. Other measurable factors include new customer list, sales presentations, top 50 accounts, and overall expenses.
Follow up on sales inquiries and provide quotes.
Work to resolve customer problems and initiate solutions.
Maintain customer files and accounts with accurate information.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; bachelors degree preferred.
1-3 years of inside sales training.
3-5 years outside sales experience in the belting industry preferred, but not required.
Willingness to travel overnight 40-50% of the time.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Excellent application and product knowledge including assembly/fabrication of products.
Knowledge of market, customer base, competition, and products sold in assigned territory.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to present yourself and the company in a positive light, creating a desire for them to conduct business with Beltservice.
