UCONN Dental Student Summer Internship (Finance)
The Internship Program will also include research and a concentrated focus on clinical projects and programs.
Possible Research Projects:
Our company has developed a series of Clinical Position Papers that support our company's coverage position for a variety of dental services. Some examples of topics covered by these Clinical Position Papers include:
This project would involve the review and updating of selected current Clinical Position Papers and/or the development of one or more new Clinical Position Papers. The project would include a detailed literature review of published scientific articles related to the specific service(s)/procedure(s). It would also include a survey of any established positions published by organized dentistry, specialty organizations, government, and/or regulatory agencies. A draft of the updated and/or new Clinical Position Paper(s) prepared by the intern would then be reviewed with our Dental Clinical team for a shared understanding of the intern's findings. A final position statement would ultimately be developed by the Dental Clinical team based upon the intern's research. Other related projects or tasks may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
Candidate must be currently enrolled in a 1st year dental program.
Schedule
You must be available to work a 35-hour work week for 8 weeks beginning June 9, 2025. Working hours are Monday - Friday, core business hours are 8:00AM - 5:00PM Eastern.
Location
This is a hybrid role, and 3 days/week will be located at our Bloomfield, CT office located at: 900 Cottage Grove, Bloomfield, CT 06152.
Work Authorization
This temporary internship is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa support including H-1B, CPT/OPT/STEM, etc., now or in the future.

Compensation
For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of $32-$40/hr depending on relevant factors, including experience, major and geographic location.
