Professor of Practice and Academic Director of the Executive DBA Program (Finance)
The Academic Director (AD) is responsible for academic management of the DBA program and providing academic support for DBA students and their research. The AD coordinates delivery of the DBA curriculum and manages the approval process of additions/changes to the curriculum. The AD also oversees, plans for, and executes DBA student services, which include developing and managing systems to track and assess student progress, managing student advisory teams, addressing student concerns, and facilitating compliance with AACSB accreditation standards for Assurance of Learning.
This position requires considerable interface with Executive DBA students, academic Department Chairs, and Bauer faculty who teach in the DBA program and who advise the research of DBA students. The AD might also interface with external constituents such as AACSB, Executive DBA Council, other universities, and DBA alumni.

• Recruit and mentor faculty adept at executive education
• Support research initiatives of current DBA students
• Lead DBA student recruitment and retention initiatives
• Build and maintain relationships with industry partners
Requirements
• PhD in Business Administration or related field, or DBA
• Proven excellence in teaching executives, with outstanding student evaluations
• Active engagement in research with publications in respected journals
• Strong track record in academic leadership and program management
Essential Skills
• Exceptional teaching and facilitation skills, particularly with executive audiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to translate complex concepts for practitioner audiences
• Ability to engage and inspire experienced business professionals
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience directing executive or doctoral programs
• Strong industry network and consulting experience
• International teaching or research experience
