The Relationship Manager, VP provides client relationship management services for new and prospective clients for Wintrust Financial Markets and Funds Group. In this role, you will work closely with sales, client services, and treasury management, ensuring all requirements are met in the client onboarding process. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the alternative fund industry.
What You'll Do
Act as the liaison for the sales and onboarding teams to obtain requirements for account opening and questionnaire review
Work with prospective and existing clients to obtain all required supporting documents needed for onboarding
Serve as the escalation point of contact for clients, understanding their objectives and proactively addressing their needs
Assist treasury management product partner by processing wires and pulling various due diligence reports
Attend annual review calls with fund admins and management companies in which we serve
Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with relevant regulations and industry standards
Display a high level of interpersonal skills, demonstrating poise, tact, and diplomacy at all times
Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum 7 years' client service and administrative support experience within the alternative fund industry On-boarding experience (asset managers, hedge funds, or other client types)
High degree of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; prior experience with FIS a plus
Knowledge of banking concepts, practices, and procedures especially as it relates to commercial banking
Must be flexible and willing to accommodate the client and team needs
