Cutter (Manufacturing)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties/Responsibilities:
Cut mail on machines according to client needs.
Operators running Tri cutters are expected to run two machines.
Cut mail on three sides in the order received or as needed by priority.
Operators on Tri cutter need to check their envelopes and make sure they are opened on three sides.
Operators total mail cut for the day should meet current production goals set in place.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Clean machines every day at the end of each shift.
Empty machine trash and coins daily.
Sift through machine trash and separate coins out. Do not throw coins away.
Keep machine maintained as much as possible or inform assistant manager of repairs that need to be called in.
Communicate with assistant manager any problems that arise.
Keep machines running as much as possible.
When working on cards or coins keep track of clerical time.
May be required to work in other departments when out of work if they need assistance.
Additional task assigned by Account Manager.
Ability to work overtime including Saturday during times of mail fluctuations.
Ability to maneuver between departments minimum of 100 feet, maximum of 600 feet at a time. This would be 95% of the time.
Ability to remain on production floor until breaktimes.
Ability to be at a desk 5% of the time.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
