Admissions Scheduler, Behavioral Health (Project Management)
Job Duties: Promptly answer phone calls from patients and referents seeking behavioral health servicesSchedule patients for behavioral health services for Minnesota clinicsGuide callers through scheduling processes and provide education about available servicesProcess internal and external referrals; place outbound calls to schedule requested servicesManage EHR inbox; promptly address and respond to messages and inquiries Communicate scheduling outcomes with referentsVerify and update patient demographic informationAddress patient complaints and concerns and escalate to management when appropriateAttend or review notes/recording for mandatory meetings and trainingsComplete other duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications: Display empathy and sensitivity in navigating complex situations with patients Excellent critical thinking skillsSelf-motivated with ability to multi-task, handle stress, deescalate, and problem solveSuperb verbal communication skillsPositive attitude and ability to be flexible in a team environmentMust be proficient in use of computers and typing skillsMust be able to work full time with scheduled office hours of 40 hours per weekAn interest and/or experience in psychology, counseling, the behavioral sciences, social work, or healthcare is strongly preferredHigh School Diploma required
