Product Development & Innovation Specialist (Information Technology)
Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept to commercialization, across multiple product lines.
Drive technological innovation, identifying and integrating new technologies that can enhance product performance, reduce costs, or improve sustainability.
Collaborate with external partners, such as universities, research institutions, and technology providers, to bring cutting-edge innovations into the product development process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop products that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful launch of new products.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, specifications, and reports.
Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for new product development or enhancement to existing products.
Coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure new products can be produced efficiently while meeting quality standards.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in product development, technology innovation, or a related field within the oil and gas or chemical industry.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Proven track record of successfully leading product development projects from concept to commercialization.
Strong understanding of technology trends and innovations in the oil and gas chemical sector.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing resources and leading technical teams.
Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with various teams.
Knowledge or regulatory and environmental standards in the oil and gas industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of experience in product development, technology innovation, or a related field within the oil and gas or chemical industry.
Advanced degree or relevant certifications.
