The firm is actively looking for a Law Firm New Case Investigator to join its thriving and successful plaintiffs personal injury practice. Davis Law Group is a small but very well established (30+ years), busy and highly successful downtown Seattle personal injury firm employing extraordinary people. There is a strong commitment to achieving excellent results for our clients through intelligent and aggressive advocacy. Our office receives hundreds of potential new client inquiries per month. Potential candidate must be an excellent communicator, a good listener, and have a friendly helpful attitude. Must have a high energy level and be able to handle multiple tasks at once all the while thriving in an extremely busy & upbeat environment. Being a strong multi-tasker who enjoys working on the phone (this position will be approximately 90% phone work) is critical to your success and enjoyment of this position. Several of our current legal assistants and paralegals started out as new case case investigators. Responsibilities and Duties To serve as the first point of contact for potential clients; evaluate cases based on our case selection criteria; and maximize the opportunity to generate new cases. Answer incoming calls from potential clients. Ask pertinent questions and enter data into case management system documenting all contact.Assess the type of legal matter to determine whether or not it is within our focused area of the law.Review case facts with attorney and/or management team to determine if it meets our firm's case criteria (i.e. is it a case that we will accept).Inform the potential client as to whether or not the firm will be able to assist with their potential legal claim.If appropriate sets appointments for free consultation with an attorney.
