From developing and buying products, managing inventory levels and pricing, working with marketing to execute promotions and publications, and so much more, Stullers Merchandising teams serve as the product experts within our company. The Gemstones Assistant Category Manager is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of approved product programs for the assigned and expanding gemstone product lines under the leadership of the Executive Director of Diamonds and Gemstones. Key Responsibilities: Translate raw data into actionable insights and present findings for decision-making.Review gemstone assortments to optimize inventory levels for maximum sales and profits.Monitor and analyze costing and pricing data to maintain target margins across product types.Define project goals, success markers, and track progress on gemstone initiatives.Develop and streamline processes to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Collaborate with internal teams to advocate for gemstones and foster partnerships.Recommend and execute plans to launch new gemstone products, maximizing sales and profitability.Implement merchandising plans to deliver an ideal assortment for assigned categories.Support the creation of catalogs and promotional materials, including layout recommendations and data analysis.Partner with web development teams to enhance the shopability of Stuller.com.Deeply understand the target audience and position assortments to best serve customer needs.Identify and develop emerging trends and new product concepts to meet market demands.Monitor the marketplace for competitive information and develop trend timelines.Report on purchase data and product category performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).Collaborate on product initiatives and sales efforts to drive business growth. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in gemstones or a related field is a plus but not required.Proven ability to work with diverse teams, including designers, developers, and project managers.Experience in working with automated systems (e.g., ORACLE, MicroStrategy).
