Regulatory Permitting Specialist (Finance)

Role description:
Arcadis is searching for an Regulatory Permitting Specialist to support and grow our Water team in New York City. This candidate will use their expertise and technical knowledge to deliver permitting approvals for various stages of the project related to water/wastewater/stormwater clients in the Tri State Area and across North America. This role requires a strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations and the ability to work closely with internal teams, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with all permitting requirements.
Role accountabilities:
Technical Skills: Complete technical and report writing with guidance from senior team members. Reports must ensure accuracy and compliance with Arcadis requirements and relevant national standards and codes or practices. Part of this responsibility will be to provide inspection services in the field for ongoing construction projects. Our expectation is that you will help resolve technical issues on projects and provide technical guidance to team members as needed.
Project Management: Act as a project resource, completing allocated activities to meet budget, timeframe and quality objectives and meeting or exceeding client expectations; this will entail carrying out investigations and analyses to support the development of technical solutions. When necessary, you will need to liaise with Project Managers/Team Leaders and clients to ensure effective communication on project matters.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design or solution.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
