LB&B Associates Inc. is currently accepting applications for a full-time, exempt Facilities Renovations Manager to support our contract to provide operations and maintenance services at federal buildings and U.S. courthouse in Virginia. Position is based out of Richmond, VA but is required to travel to other cities across the state. The position requires a self-motivated individual to identify, prioritize, estimate, bid out and manage various facility related construction projects such as interior occupied space alterations, repairs/upgrades to the building envelope and existing interior finishes, as well as electrical and mechanical alterations and upgrades. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field, as well as five (5) years' experience supervising and/or managing commercial construction and mechanical projects. Candidate must be detail oriented, organized, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. This individual will often work directly with the building owner and tenant representatives to resolve space-management and equipment maintenance issues.
