Housekeeper/Environmental Services Technician, FT Hospital (Maintenance)
Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning duties as scheduled by the supervisor, following specific established infection control procedures and standards for each area of assignment.Performs duties at assigned areas of the facility to ensure established standards of infection control are maintained. Demonstrate knowledge of infection control processes, tools and techniques in a healthcare environment; ability to apply this to provide a clean and sterile environment for patients/residents and facility staff.Ability to adjust to ensure that the needs of assigned areas are met.Work efficiently to contribute to an economical operation; interacts cooperatively with others to contribute to a positive work environment.Work according to prescribed safety standards to ensure that safe environment is maintained. Wear the proper protective equipment following the appropriate guidelines. Keep storage, equipment and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Environmental Services Technicians will have access to radios and other technology that they will be responsible to use appropriately when needed. Assist in the laundry areas as requested.Responsible for other related duties, including laundry duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Supervisor.Other responsibilities and duties as assigned on occasion, based upon facility needs and requirements.
The average range for this position is $15.00- $17.19/hour depending on years of experience.ALL Experience from past work history is taken into consideration at time of offer!
