Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement infection prevention and control programs in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Conduct infection surveillance, data tracking, and reporting
- Educate staff on best practices for infection control and prevention
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff
- Stay up to date on infection control regulations and implement necessary policy updates
Qualifications
- Active LVN license in California
- Previous infection control or long-term care experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of CDC, CMS, and CDPH infection control guidelines
- Detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about resident safety
