Assistant Professor- Applied Mathematics with Focus on Mathematical Biology or Medicine (Finance)
We are interested in someone with expertise in areas identified as critical to research at UH, including modeling, computations, and analysis with applications in biology and medicine. Possible directions include: stochastic analysis, PDEs and kinetic theory, probability, and modeling and analysis of dynamics. This recruitment will also advance our educational mission and foster closer interaction and productive collaborations with the UH Medical School, UH Biology and Bioengineering, the UH/HP Data Science Institute, and the larger community in the Texas Medical Center in Houston.
