The Assistant Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of credit relationships, evaluating financial statements, credit worthiness, and other risk factors to make informed decisions, ensuring compliance with the Bank's policy and industry regulations.
What You'll Do
Prepare client and prospect credit memos for annual reviews and new client credit approvals
Maintain an effective line of communication with the Account Portfolio Manager on assigned accounts
Manage and update ticklers, ensuring client is in compliance with collateral reporting requirements
Monitor account debtor purchase limits, ensuring timely reviews and updates
Complete account debtor purchase limit write-ups
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Minimum 3 years commercial credit experience; prior factoring and/or receivables finance experience a plus
Solid understanding of general credit and risk principles, mitigates, and banking policies/procedures; formal bank credit training is preferred
Must be detail focused and well organized with the ability to multitask
Ability to proactively and confidently communicate verbally and in writing will all levels of management, clients and attorneys
Ability to work independently and use independent judgment with minimal supervision
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (specifically MS Excel) and ability to pick up on new systems quickly

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $72,000-$110,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
