Position Summary:
The Oracle HCM Developer III is responsible for designing and developing complex, scalable integrations that support Oracle HCM Cloud and related platforms. This position acts as a subject matter expert, providing advanced support, mentoring and fostering professional growth for continuous improvement within the team.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or other field involving software and analytical training, and four years of IT related work experience, OR a Bachelor's degree with no specific required field and five years of IT related work experience, OR a Master's degree and three years of IT related work experience, OR a combination of eight years of IT related work experience and validated training. Preparation for a relevant IT certification is considered to be related training.

Design and Development: Develops and maintains integrations within Oracle HCM Cloud, leveraging BICC, OIC, CIF, Oracle APEX (Application Express), and other integration tools to support business and technical objectives. Implements integration patterns and architectural principles to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of Oracle HCM-related solutions. Develops and optimizes complex software components, ensuring seamless data flow between Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party systems. Facilitates technical design discussions and code reviews, providing strategic insights and innovative solutions. Adapts integration solutions to accommodate vendor-driven changes.
Release and Deployment: Oversees the release process, coordinating with Product Owners/Program Managers to ensure successful deployments. Develops automated testing scripts and frameworks to streamline testing and deployment including automated integration testing pipelines. Ensures compliance with industry standards and best practices in deployment. Enhances deployment strategies with monitoring tools for tracking integration performance, error handling, and application stability.
Support and Maintenance: Acts as a subject matter expert for Oracle HCM integrations providing advanced support and troubleshooting. Manages vendor-driven changes ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with business requirements. Monitors and optimizes BICC, OIC, and CIF integrations, identifying and addressing performance issues. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve integration-related issues and enhance user experience.
Documentation: Develops comprehensive documentation for integration workflows, data mappings, and technical specifications. Establishes best practices for API documentation and integration reference materials. Implements automation tools to improve documentation efficiency and accuracy. Research and Innovation: Leads research initiatives to evaluate new technologies or tools that can enhance application integrations. Drives innovation by proposing and piloting new features or enhancements based on user feedback and industry trends.
Coaching and Mentoring: Mentors other developers in integration best practices and Oracle HCM Cloud. Leads knowledge-sharing initiatives. Incorporates 360-degree feedback to support developers' growth by providing actionable insights and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
