Machinist III - 2nd shift (Personal Services)
*This role is located in Kalona & will relocate to CIVCO's new facility in Coralville late Spring 2025.
2nd shift hours are 3pm - 1:30am Mon - Thurs.
The machinists operate 3-4 axis CNC machines to produce complex parts demonstrating advanced cross training flexibility, including first part run and full machine recovery. Machinists can complete complex setups on 3-4 axis machines, apply advanced blueprint and GD&T reading to complex production inspection processes. Machinists will also be able to edit programs and write simple programs. The machinist's competencies include troubleshooting complex parts, providing assistance and training to lower level operators, processing already programmed aluminum tools, and making necessary adjustments to achieve fit and function of the tool.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Four to six years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
