Job Overview: Linde is seeking an individual to lead its southeast customer service center located in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate will direct a team of managers and technicians that install and maintain Linde's liquid delivery systems. This mid-level management position leads, directs, organizes, and controls all activities and efforts of the team. This role requires an individual that can work across multiple organizations with a can-do attitude to be successful. This includes engineering, sales, external customers, senior management, and logistics. This is a leadership role that incorporates managerial know-how, strategic competencies, technical ability, and integrity to ensure safe and reliable product delivery to each customer. Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: - Establishing and maintaining a strong safety culture across the team. - Managing approximately five direct reports and a team of over 20 people. Sets priorities, oversees quality of work. Ensures adherence to work process, policies, and procedures. - Advising sales and business to provide the best customer delivery solutions. This includes technology as well as cost estimating. - Resolution of acute issues with customer installations. - Financial performance of department, productivity and KPI's. - Effective management of all installation projects and maintenance activities. - Management and operation of the tank refurbishment center. - Accurate control of the warehouse and inventories. - Maintaining a culture of safety, reliability, and responsiveness. - Routine business reporting to senior leadership. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred. - Minimum of10 years Operational and/or Commercial experience in a related industry. - Proven experience building and leading a team. - Experience with direct customer support, interaction, and collaboration. - Position requires frequent overnight travel, and off-hour availability for urgent matters.
