F5XC has innovated a consistent, cloud-native environment that can be deployed across multiple public clouds and edge sites — a distributed cloud platform. Within this SaaS-based offering, F5XC integrates a broad range of services that have normally been siloed across many point products and network or cloud providers. The solution is designed to provide a single way to view security, operations, and management components.
Job Summary
We are looking for a Program Manager to drive compliance projects, such as FedRAMP Moderate, FedRAMP High, IL5, PCI-DSS, SOC2, ISO27001 for the F5 XC Platform, collaborating with engineers, architects, and key partners while driving multi-product projects to support government requirements. You will be responsible for working with multiple stakeholders and teams to ensure they complete requirements to meet government needs. This will require familiarity with engineering, operations, and other teams' related controls and activities performed as part of the software development cycle.
Primary Responsibilities
Your role will be to perform project management for achieving and maintaining FedRAMP Moderate, High and IL5 authorizations to operate for F5 XC Platform.
Outline and drive execution of tasks to enable implementation of control activities to support FedRAMP and IL5 controls.
Provide support, advice, and tracking for audit artifact gathering and preparation for assessments, authorizations, and continuous monitoring.
Design, build and maintain an overall program execution plan, roadmap, and governance structure to support and implement activities related to people, process, and technology that span across multiple business functions.
Identify workstreams and monitor the execution of the program per scope, schedule, and resourcing.
Provide direction to project leads and coordinators on various workstreams to manage scope, timelines, deliverables, and risks to the overall program.
Partner with change management leads to identify and define a change management strategy and plan to ensure business readiness, engagement, and adoption.
Drive creation and development of process-related documentation to support technical engineering and operations controls.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across various business units and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Serve as an escalation point on risks, issues, and decisions, for planning and execution, course-correcting as needed.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership on program status, milestones, and key performance metrics.
Establish program rhythm of business – including communications, status reports, and readouts to stakeholders and leadership.
Design and develop executive-level presentations providing overall project status as needed.
Ensure the use of program management best practices, methodologies, and tools to enhance project execution efficiency and effectiveness.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience managing FedRAMP, SOX, SOC, and ISO 27001compliance and assessment activities.
Knowledge of compliance and security frameworks such as FedRAMP (Moderate, High, IL5, SOX, SOC 2, NIST, PCI-DSS, etc.).
Capable of strong individual contribution and influence across non-direct reporting teams.
Demonstrated knowledge of program and project management methodologies, e.g., waterfall, agile.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, program development, resource allocation, change management, and risk assessment.
Proficiency in program management software and tools to facilitate efficient program planning, tracking, and reporting.
Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex, cross functional technical initiatives.
Detail-oriented and able to understand the bigger picture by using your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to prioritize and manage blocking issues.
Knowledge of software product development and release cycles.
SaaS and data management industry experience is a plus.
Strong internal drive, a bias for action and ability to build internal champions across the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex, high-impact projects at technology-based companies or within technical domains
PMP, PgMP, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable

The annual base pay for this position is: $119,293.00 - $178,939.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5's differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
