The Assistant Curator of Museum Education is a 12-month, Assistant instructor non-tenure earning faculty position with a start date of January 6, 2025. This position reports to the director of the Contemporary Art Museum.

The College of Design, Art & Performance offers a wide array of classes ranging from arts electives available to the entire USF student population to highly specialized courses for majors in each of our disciplines, as well as a doctoral level program in music education. College of Design, Art & Performance is also ambitious in its size and scope, with four separate schools, nearly a dozen different degree programs, two concert halls, three theatres, a professional museum, a student art gallery, a digital media lab, a new Music Building, and Graphicstudio-which is renowned throughout the nation and the world.
For our community, the College annually presents approximately 400 public performances, exhibitions, lectures, plays, shows, concerts, workshops and more - by our students and faculty as well as by nationally and internationally recognized artists, scholars, and performers.
The USF Contemporary Art Museum (CAM) with Graphicstudio (GS) and the Public Art Program compose the Institute for Research in Art. CAM organizes, presents, commissions and travels exhibitions, commissions public art projects, and manages a collection with a focus on contemporary works on paper. CAM researches and strives to identify and work with artists that can stimulate and shape cultural debate in our community and beyond, and actively engages audiences in educational programs including lectures, symposia, workshops, and community-based projects.
