BUSINESS UNIT: NATURAL GAS PIPELINES
With approximately 67,000 miles of natural gas pipelines, Kinder Morgan owns an interest in or operates the largest natural gas network in North America. We serve the major consuming markets of the United States, and our pipelines transport approximately 40 percent of the natural gas consumed in the U.S. Our pipelines are connected to every important natural gas resource play and supply area, including the Eagle Ford, Marcellus, Bakken, Utica, Uinta Permian, Haynesville, Fayetteville and Barnett.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Manage a team of Engineers by leading, managing, monitoring, reviewing, improving, and assisting with their efforts in the areas of Capacity Planning, Operations Planning and System Design. This team supports four Kinder Morgan (KM) interstate natural gas transmission pipeline and storage assets: Tennessee Gas Pipeline, Kinder Morgan Louisiana Pipeline, Arlington Storage and Stagecoach Pipeline and Storage. This team highly utilizes hydraulic pipeline simulation tools and frequently coordinates with the following internal customers: Marketing, Business Development, Gas Control, Transportation Contracts and Scheduling, Pipeline Operations, Engineering, Project Management (PM), Rates, Regulatory, EHS-Air Permitting and Information Technology.
