Housekeeper Full Time (Maintenance)

Edisto Post-Acute located in Orangeburg, South Carolina, is a 113-bed skilled nursing & rehab facility less than a mile from the beautiful Edisto Memorial Gardens. We are currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our team!

HOUSEKEEPING:
Essential Duties:

• Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day including lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains and floors.
• Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms.
• Maintain handrails to ensure they are clean and free of debris.
• Clean and remove dust, dirt or food off walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures. towel bars, towel dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Utilize proper safety measures when cleaning, including the use of caution signage and keeping supplies and chemicals out of reach of the residents.
• Excellent customer skills and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently or with a team

Successful candidates will have the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a Long-Term Care or healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to pass a federal background check and drug screen required.
