Restaurant General Manager, Nobu Restaurant - Hotel del Coronado, A Curio Collection by Hilton (Finance)
Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. In this role, you will be overseeing the open of the Hotel de Coronado's Nobu Restaurant, managing a team of 75 Front of House Team Members, reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage.
The ideal candidate will must be an exceptional leader with a passion for creating extraordinary experiences, a talent for training and developing others, and experiencedinall aspectsof restaurant operations ( ex. financial performance, social media reputation, local market capture, and employee relations ). At least 3 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager in an upscale dining environment is required. Strong beverage knowledge and prior luxury hotel experience are a plus.
Marking the continued expansion of The Del's culinary experiences, Nobu Del Coronado will be the newest addition to the world-renowned Japanese restaurant empire founded by Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert De Niro.
Nobu Del Coronado will offer over 3,700 square feet of stunning indoor and al fresco oceanfront dining space, including an outdoor covered patio dining with a pagoda bar and dedicated sushi bar.

As a Restaurant General Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a high-end restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining quality standards, managing staff and driving profitability, with a strong focus on delivering a refined and sophisticated dining experience for guests; this includes managing the dining room team, maintaining meticulous attention to detail, and upholding the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
