HVAC Engineer I Journeyman - The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio By Hilton (Finance)

The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio By Hilton is looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer I to join their Property operations Team! The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton is South Florida's iconic beachfront destination located near Miami and Fort Lauderdale, in Hollywood, Florida.

In order to qualify for this role, you will have to possess the Broward County Mechanical Journeyman License and have a minimum of 5 Years of Hospitality Engineering or Related Experience.

Shift Pattern: PM shifts, 4PM - Midnight, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Pay Rate: $44.17 per hour

What will I be doing?

• Professionally operate the Central Plant and all associated systems and equipment. Inspect, operate and conduct preventative maintenance on Central Plant Systems, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment.
• Repair, or replace items such as Chillers, AHUs, Fan Coil Units, Exhaust Fans, Reach-in and Walk-in Coolers/Freezers, light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous items.
• Assists Engineers and trains with Engineers/trade mechanics to learn to maintain the physical functionality of the facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas.
• Performs a variety of repair and maintenance and cleaning tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry.
• Inspects guestrooms, public space and heart-of-the-house for needed and preventive maintenance.
• Maintains detailed record-keeping of all work orders and completed assignments.
• Performs additional office-related work (i.e. receives deliveries, runs errands for parts, etc.).
