Oversee the sales process for Line Pipe products and associated services, such as pipe coating, in designated countries. This includes directly managing customer requests or coordinating with the sales team (Sales Manager, Technical Sales, and Inside Sales).
Focus on business development by fostering strong relationships with various Vallourec organizations, including the WIN It team, DO It team, and M&D team.
Enhance and implement the "WIN IT" processes by supporting the Tender and Account Director to ensure a consistent PLP customer approach, as expected by international clients (EPCI Contractors, International Oil Companies, etc.). This alignment will also optimize resource allocation globally across regions.
Increase market share by growing existing accounts and acquiring new ones, leveraging the ability to meet customer needs through Vallourec's product and service portfolio.
Gather and consolidate customer and prospect needs and communicate them to the PLP product line management to aid in the development of the product and service portfolio.
Core Competencies
Knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry and line pipe ecosystem: Subsea field development projects (Onshore is a plus), End-users, EPCI Contractors, Coaters, and MLP supplier
Some background in Export Sales of Industrial Products
Maturity, adaptability, dynamism, and creativity
Very good interpersonal skills, able to work as a team
Good communication and reporting skills, able to respect deadlines
Ability to develop and grow a network of customers and stakeholders instrumental to identifying and securing business targeted by Vallourec
Basic understanding of financial notions such as Cash, working capital (PRI), profitability (fixed and variable costs)
Basic understanding of the legal implications of commercial terms and conditions
Knowledge of the seamless line pipe market, concept of pipeline manufacturing & installation as well as materials engineering and weldability, the Thermal and anticorrosive insulation markets as well as regulations related to USA importation (section 232) are a clear plus for the position.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
A Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

Certified Sales Professional (CSP)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Certified International Sales Professional (CISP)
Oil & Gas Industry Certifications (e.g., API, ASME)
Any relevant certifications in business development or strategic management
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
In-depth knowledge of the pipeline industry and market dynamics.
