HVAC MECHANIC (Maintenance)
NVE Inc. is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to join our team currently providing operations and maintenance (O&M) support at two GSA facilities in the Kansas City Missouri area. Candidate shall have at 2-4 years of experiences obtained within the past seven (7) years in a trade or occupation in maintenance, repair and operation of HVAC equipment in buildings. Must have at least one of the following three certifications (or obtain them within 90 days of starting work with NVE): NATE HVAC Service Technician Certification, HVAC Excellence Professional Level Certification, or UA Star HVAC Mastery Certification. The individual will be responsible for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing building systems and associated equipment, such as HVAC Systems, chillers and chilled water systems, boilers & hot water heating systems; operating and performing Preventive Maintenance (PM) on building systems and equipment; and performing refrigerant recovery and recycling. Personnel engaged in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of refrigerant-containing equipment/systems shall be trained and certified as a Universal Technician (See 40 CFR 82.) by an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-approved source in the proper handling, recovery, and recycling of CFC refrigerants. Shift is Monday through Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM.
