CNC Maintenance Technician (Engineering)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive CNC Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance of our CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. This role is critical in maintaining the high standards of quality and efficiency required for medical component manufacturing.
Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC machines.Identify and address potential issues before they lead to breakdowns.Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.Calibrate and align CNC machines to ensure precise operation.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on CNC machines.Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, including motors, spindles, bearings, and control systems.Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and prioritize repairs to minimize downtime.Optimize machine performance to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address machine-related issues.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.
