Job Description:
• Prepare and manage financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Oversee the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Manage cash flow and monitor financial transactions.
• May collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
• Provide US taxation support and expertise assisting in US tax regulations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, and preparing necessary tax documentation.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of global trial balances to ensure accuracy and consistency across all entities.
• Oversee capital expenditure projects, evaluating new systems and equipment for implementation, and developing annual capital expenditure plans.
• Manage the corporate close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and coordinating with various departments to gather necessary information.
• Assist in the preparation and review of budgets, providing support during audits, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements
• Assist with managing lease agreements, ensuring compliance with lease accounting standards, and maintaining accurate records of lease transactions.
• Maintain and update fixed asset records, ensuring proper depreciation calculations, and reconciling fixed asset accounts.
Qualifications & Technical Competencies:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• At least five years of experience in accounting, with a focus on corporate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is preferred.
