Kiln Fireman - Day Shift Wednesday - Saturday (Manufacturing)

The fireman will be responsible for organizing and completing daily kiln car handling according to verbal or written instructions. The fireman will monitor the kiln, dryer, transfer instruments and automation to confirm that the scheduled flow of product is occurring. The fireman will report any mechanical or electrical failures to kiln maintenance or any supervisor no matter the time of day or night. They will be called upon to complete other duties outside of their daily routine but not beyond the scope of their employment and practice good housekeeping. Must be able to climb stairs, walk frequently, walk quickly, have acceptable math skills, have basic computer knowledge and lift at least 40lbs. This will be a day shift position. Wednesday 12pm - 6pm, Thursday - Saturday 6am -6pm.
