Imaging Service Engineer II (Finance)
The Imaging Service Engineer II (ISE) is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating a wide range of diagnostic imaging and/or therapeutic radiation equipment.
This multi-modality, multi-vendor in-house imaging position requires a high level of technical expertise. The role requires participation in on-call rotations. Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) training is available.
Essential Functions
1. Inspect, maintain, repair, and calibrate imaging equipment and systems.
2. Provide technical support for imaging equipment used in direct patient care.
3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
4. Routinely interact with clinical health providers to identify and resolve technology-based issues.
5. Address organization-level customer service concerns and complaints.
6. Prepare required documentation and reports.
7. Demonstrate a safety-focused approach to all tasks.
8. Practice fiscal responsibility when purchasing parts and services.
9. Manage and schedule vendor services as needed.
10. Guide clinical staff in the proper operation of imaging equipment when necessary.
11. Accurately document work performed and maintain detailed equipment records.
12. Plan and schedule service and maintenance duties.
13. Assist the management team in evaluating contract levels.
14. Support vendors during repairs and preventive maintenance tasks as needed.
15. Participate in the on-call rotation every third week for imaging equipment support (subject to change based on company needs).
16. Provides training to Imaging team when needed and acts as a mentor to ISE 1.
17. Leads or manages vendor during mission critical equipment repairs.
18. Assists ISE 3 or Supervisor develop maintenance schedules.
19. Additional duties may be assigned as needed by management.
Requirements
High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree is preferred
Minimum 3 years imaging equipment repair and preventive maintenance experience is required.
