POSITION OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for leading and instructing youth in various sports for the summer.

JOB LOCATION:Walnut Creek YMCA and Waukee YMCA
SUMMER YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAM DATES: June 2, 2025-July 31, 2025
SHIFTS AVAILABLE: MON, TUES, WED, THURS - 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM
PAY RANGE:$10.25-$14.00/hour depending on qualifications
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: April 4, 2025- Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Demonstrate, teach, and lead activities.Conduct the program in a fun, upbeat atmosphere.Ability to follow and implement curriculum provided by others.Address participants' concerns and notify the supervisor.Know emergency procedures and be able to demonstrate them.Report specific problems or needs to the supervisor or designated staff person.Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or designated staff person.Exercise sound judgment in situations not covered by policies, procedures, andpractices.Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or designated staff person.Demonstrate and support the objectives of the Association as embodied in the mission statement and values.
