EHS Manager (Finance)
Accountable to lead and manage all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs and systems for the Facilities in Wallingford, CT, Mansfield, MA, and Montvale, NJ, but also oversees, supports, and is accountable for EHS performance in two/three other Northeastern US Business Unit locations. Provides professional EHS expertise to meet OSHA, US EPA, US DOT, similar State and municipal regulatory agencies. Daily responsibility for the continuous improvement of all Company EHS activities through the implementation of EHS programs and process improvements, leadership development and individual employee EHS training. The primary focus of all Company EHS activities is the establishment of an "Injury-Free Workplace Culture" the continual reduction of risks, the implementation of best practices, world class EHS performance programs and systems.

Performance in this position is evaluated objectively through the results delivered by the Company EHS programs as measured by leading/lagging accident and environmental incident rates, continuous risk reduction activities, the Company EHS metrics, the performance trends toward an Injury-Free Workplace and Zero Environmental Incidents, Company compliance with environmental, employee safety and health regulations, the effective operation of all Wallingford, CT, Mansfield, MA, and Montvale, NJ EHS activities, the timely submission of EHS data and the timely completion of EHS goals and objectives. Performance in this position is evaluated subjectively by the Director of Operations' ability to drive a clear safety culture at Wallingford, CT, Mansfield, MA, and Montvale, NJ, the Company's satisfaction with the EHS programs and systems, the EHS Manager's productivity, development, and creativity through inspiration, active engagement, leadership, and self-motivated actions.
