Logistics Manager (Finance)



Job Description:

Saalex Solutions is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to develop, implement, and maintain an Integrated Product Support (IPS) framework for a newly developed Logistics Support Activity (LSA). This LSA, built on an existing foundational model, will be responsible for supporting TARIF objectives and providing critical logistics support to ranges and vendors involved in the development and sustainment of complex DoD systems.

In this role, you will lead efforts to transform the current logistics system into a fully integrated, cutting-edge logistics operation that enhances operational readiness and supports program needs. The Logistics Manager will be expected to work closely with TARIF stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams, ensuring that logistics processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with DoD standards. The Logistics Manager will work through the Operations Manager and be expected to maintain a high standard of professional and ethical communication with all stakeholders. A critical aspect of this role is the ability to stand up and manage Navy ERP and other logistics software systems within a complex and secure environment. This includes overseeing the deployment, configuration, and ongoing operation of these systems to ensure that logistics operations are fully integrated and aligned with mission requirements.

This is a highly strategic position where your decisions will directly influence the success of TARIF objectives and overall defense mission outcomes. The role requires a self-starter who can work independently, prioritize tasks, communicate logistics needs effectively to superiors, and build strong, ethical relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing and planning for logistics issues
  • Maintaining reports and records of inventory
  • Managing and coordinating with the shipping team
  • Supervising and training any warehouse staff members
  • Delivering Solutions to any logistics problems while maintaining a high quality of service
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers and manufacturers
