Facility Ops Supervisor (Finance)

Overview

The Supervisor is responsible for supervising personnel while overseeing maintenance operations for property / buildings owned and leased by Kirby Inland Marine, L.P.

Responsibilities

• Receive phone calls / e-mails relating to property issues and create work orders pertaining to said issues.
• Supervise building maintenance personnel.
• Assign work orders to appropriate maintenance personnel / vendors.
• Issue purchase orders to appropriate personnel / vendors
• Receive and place calls regarding billing, purchasing, etc.
• Obtain bids and execute contracts for services.
• Prepare and monitor budgets as well as cross check monthly building allocation reports.
• Maintain records on lease terms and monitor lease expiration dates for all KIM leased buildings / facilities.
• Maintain all vendor files including preventive maintenance agreements.

Qualifications

• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Organized, detail-oriented and accurate.
• Advanced knowledge and use of computer software:
• Groupwise E-mail, Oracle, OASIS, Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Education/ Experience:

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• At least 5 years in a related field, preferably facility operations.

Working Conditions:

Typical office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Overtime as needed.
