Job Summary:
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking to fill a Senior Manager and Economist position in the Risk Assessment, Data Analysis and Research (RADAR) group of the Supervision, Regulation, and Credit (SRC) Department.
RADAR provides leadership and expertise to the Federal Reserve System in research, modeling, and data analytics. RADAR also manages the largest collection anywhere of data on U.S. consumer finance, real estate, and fixed income securities. The group's resources and strong ties with other research units in the Bank as well as with other Reserve Banks and the Federal Reserve Board provide an excellent platform for researchers seeking opportunities to conduct high quality research and create impact.
What You Will Do:
The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated ability of publishing at top economics and finance journals, an active research agenda, and leadership experience. The manager is expected to write memos and give presentations frequently to senior leaders in the Bank and in the Federal Reserve System, so strong writing and presentation skills are required. This position is aimed at a mid-career researcher. In addition to conducting their own research, the manager will be responsible for leading a group of economists and analysts that conducts economic research and policy work mainly in the areas of retail credit risk, consumer finance, AI, and banking supervision.

The salary grade for this position is: 19. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, and skills, and internal equity and alignment with market data.
