Staffing Specialist (Human Resources)
Coordinate recruitment and scheduling activities, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, optimize staffing schedules and ensures staffing requirements are fulfilled.
Maintain and update a database of potential candidates.
Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit.
Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires.
Track and report on staffing and scheduling metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
Develop and maintain scheduling best practices to utilize resources effectively and identify needs.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Represent the company at job fairs and recruitment events.
Implement and refine recruitment strategies to address shifts in labor markets.
Coordinate and manage hiring and onboarding process.
Assist with workforce planning and scheduling to anticipate future hiring needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in recruitment or staffing.
Certifications in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
