Through senior managers and/or managers, applies expert knowledge of the business and industry to drive business results. Oversees all actions related to staff and operations of one or more function. Ensures the success of a function(s) operations and the advancement of strategic objectives. Actively drives a culture of innovation and an environment of learning, which fosters engagement, risk taking and innovation; and will uphold these values in all its responsibilities.
Essential Accountabilities
Lead the community bank supervision business line, ensuring all institutions with total assets less than $10 billion are operating in a safe and sound manner, examinations/inspections have been completed within system guidelines and standards, risks are identified in a timely manner and effectively communicated to supervised institutions. Effectively partners with supervision peers to ensure supervisory conclusions effectively consider all risk disciplines.
Actively conducts, leads, and/or participates in district and regional outreach efforts to maintain an understanding of current and emerging portfolio risk and trends and banking policy perspectives. Proactively collaborates and partners with other banking regulatory agencies, fostering consistency in supervisory messaging and ratings.
Leads or participates on the most critical, most complex local and national strategic or operational projects, committees and initiatives intended to enhance policy, supervisory standards and processes, examiner training, address emerging issues or developments, or enhance quality, performance and effectiveness.
Support and participates in the District Community Depository Institution Advisory Council (CDIAC) meetings. Contribute to decisions regarding council membership and prepare presentations on local banking conditions as required.
Prepare executive level briefings and presentations for Reserve Bank and Board of Governors staff as well as for the directorate and senior management of supervised entities.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree
7+ years of related work experience (experience requirement may vary based on business need)

This position requires access to confidential supervisory information and/or FOMC information, which is limited to "Protected Individuals" as defined in the U.S. federal immigration law.
